Liverpool have won their last seven home games against Brentford in all competitions, scoring 16 and conceding one, since a 4-3 loss in the top-flight in November 1937.

Brentford haven’t kept a clean sheet in any of their last 16 meetings with Liverpool in all competitions, since a top-flight goalless draw at Anfield in April 1936.

Liverpool have gained the most points from losing positions in the Premier League this season (11) and have only lost one of their last 10 games when falling behind (W4 D5), their 2-1 loss at Spurs in September.

Brentford have won their last three Premier League matches, scoring at least twice in each victory. The Bees haven’t won four consecutive top-flight matches since March 1939 (five in a row), while they haven’t won four top-flight games in a row while scoring 2+ goals ever previously.

Liverpool have won all eight of their games at Anfield in all competitions this season, all by a margin of 2+ goals. In the Reds’ history, only from May to October 1980 have they ever won nine consecutive home games by at least two goals.

14 of Brentford’s last 15 Premier League wins have come in London, the exception being a victory at Southampton in March. Since the start of last season, the Bees have only won two of their 16 games staged outside the capital (D6 L8).

Liverpool have won their opening five home Premier League games this season – only twice in the Premier League era have they started a season with six wins at Anfield: 2019-20 (won first 17) and 2020-21 (first seven).

Luis Díaz’s equaliser against Luton Town on MD11 was the 41st 90th minute goal Liverpool have scored in the Premier League under Jürgen Klopp, second only to Man City since his first game in charge (42). It was also the Reds’ latest equalising goal (94:40) since Divock Origi scored against West Brom in December 2015 (95:24) in what was Klopp’s eighth game in charge.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has scored (15 goals) or assisted (3 goals) in each of his last 14 home Premier League appearances. Only two players have ever done so in 15 in a row – Alan Shearer (twice, March 1995 – February 1996, 18 in a row & April 1996 – May 1997, 17) and Thierry Henry (November 2002 – October 2003, 17).

Brentford striker Neal Maupay has been involved in a goal in his last three Premier League appearances (1 goal, 2 assists), after not scoring or assisting in any of his previous 30 games beforehand. The Frenchman hasn’t scored in consecutive appearances since December 2021.
