Inter Milan vs Atalanta Serie A Match Preview
This will be the 121th Serie A match between Inter and Atalanta; Inter have 64 wins and 24 defeats in their 120 meetings so far (D32).
Inter have lost just one of their last nine Serie A games against Atalanta (W4 D4), keeping a clean sheet in five of these matches.
Atalanta have lost five of the last seven Serie A away matches against Inter (D2).
Inter haven’t lost against Atalanta in either of the last two Serie A seasons (W2 D2); the defending Italian champions are the only team that Atalanta have faced without winning in this time in the Italian top-flight.
Inter have won more home league games in 2021 than any other side in Europe’s big-five leagues (14), scoring 46 goals at an average of 3.3 per match in those wins.
After their wins against Torino and Salernitana, Atalanta could start a Serie A season with wins in each of their first three away matches of a campaign for the second time in their history, after doing so in 2019/20.

Juventus vs Sampdoria Serie A Match Preview
This is the 127th Serie A match between Juventus and Sampdoria: 63 Juventus wins, 26 Sampdoria victories and 37 draws between the two teams in the top-flight.
Juventus have won the last four Serie A matches against Sampdoria, scoring at least two goals in each game and conceding only one.
Juventus have kept three clean sheets in their last three Serie A games against Sampdoria; only once have Juventus kept four consecutive shutouts against the Ligurian side in the top-flight, between January 1976 and May 1977.
Sampdoria have lost their last six Serie A away games against Juventus, by an aggregate score of 19-2. Only once have they lost seven on the bounce away from home against Juventus: in the first eight games played in Piemonte against Juventus in the top-flight – between 1949 and 1953.
Juventus have gained a point from their last two home games in Serie A – they last went three home games without a victory at the start of the 2015/16 season, again under Massimiliano Allegri.
Juventus have conceded a goal in each of their last 19 league games, only in 1955 have they had a longer run without a clean sheet in Serie A (21).

Sampdoria striker Fabio Quagliarella played 84 games for Juventus in Serie A, scoring 23 goals; against the Bianconeri he scored four goals in 21 matches in the top-flight and only one in 10 matches with the Blucerchiati.

Lazio vs Roma Serie A Match Preview
This will be the 155th Rome derby in Serie A: the Giallorossi lead with 55 wins, compared to 39 successes for the Biancocelesti (D60).
Lazio are unbeaten in the last four home Serie A derbies (W2 D2): only twice in the top-flight have they avoided defeat in five in a row (in 1947 and 2000).
Roma won the last derby with a 2-0 victory last May and haven’t kept clean sheets in consecutive wins against Lazio since the 2010/11 season (2-0 in both games).
Lazio have drawn their last two Serie A games and could draw three league matches in a row for the first time since December 2018 (four).
Since suffering consecutive home losses, Lazio are unbeaten in their last 15 Serie A home games (W13 D2).
AS Roma have found the net in their last nine Serie A matches: they last scored in 10 successive league games in May 2019, under Claudio Ranieri.
Roma have kept a clean sheet in only one of their last nine away league games, conceding at least twice in each of the other eight (W1 D2 L6).
Lazio have taken three penalties in Serie A this season, while last term, they didn’t take their third penalty of the campaign until MD14.
Luis Alberto's last brace in Serie A came against Roma in January 2021, in Lazio's 3-0 win – in total he has scored three goals against the Giallorossi.
Jordan Veretout has only scored one hat-trick in Serie A, against Lazio, doing so with Fiorentina in April 2018. The Roma midfielder has scored more goals in the top-flight against Fiorentina (4 in 5 games).

Napoli vs Cagliari Serie A Match Preview
This is the 71st Serie A match between Napoli and Cagliari, with 31 wins for the Partenopei and 14 for the Rossoblù previously (D25).
Napoli have lost only one of their last 22 Serie A matches against Cagliari (W15 D6); however, the defeat came at home, losing 0-1 in September 2019.
Cagliari are unbeaten in their last two away games against Napoli in Serie A (W1 D1), only going three away games without losing in the top-flight once, between 1994 and 2010, a run of seven games (W2 D5).
Cagliari have lost 15 of their last 20 games against Napoli in Serie A (W1 D4); only against Juventus, Lazio and Milan (16 each) have the Rossoblù suffered more defeats in this period (since 2010/11).
Napoli could win each of their first six Serie A games of a season for the second time in their history, after the 2017/18 campaign, when they won the first eight.
Napoli have not lost a Serie A home match since January 2021 (1-2 v Spezia) – since then, the Partenopei have won 10 and drawn three of 13 home matches.
Cagliari have won two points in their first five Serie A games this season; should they fail to win, the Rossoblù would have their fewest points after six games since 2012/13 (also two), while after six games they last had fewer in 2008/09 (one point) – in both cases, however, the Rossoblù weren’t relegated at the end of the season.
Napoli are the team with which Walter Mazzarri has had the best points per game average in Serie A (1.8), winning 73 and drawing 42 of his 145 games in charge.
Piotr Zielinski's debut in Serie A was against Cagliari in December 2012 with Udinese; the Napoli midfielder has scored three goals against the Rossoblù in the top-flight and has only scored more against Milan (four).
João Pedro has been involved in five goals in the last five away league games, scoring three goals and providing two assists, while the Cagliari forward had only scored two goals in his previous seven games.
