Spain played out a goalless draw in their friendly with Portugal on Wednesday to make it 14 games without defeat. That includes a late 1-1 draw with Germany and a 4-1 win over Ukraine in their opening two games in this competition, placing them top of the standings.
Switzerland are bottom of Group A4 after following up a 2-1 loss to Ukraine with a 1-1 draw against Germany in their opening two fixtures. Vladimir Petkovic's side were also in action in midweek, falling to a 2-1 friendly loss to Croatia in St. Gallen.

Spain have made four changes from their most recent Nations League clash - the 4-0 win over Ukraine last month - with one of those enforced as Thiago Alcantara misses out after recently testing positive for coronavirus. Busquets takes over in holding midfield, while Gaya, Torres and Oyarzabal are brought in for benched trio Reguilon, Rodrigo and Rodrigo Moreno.
Switzerland have a coronavirus-related absence of their own, with Manuel Akanji once again missing out, but Shaqiri is back in the squad after sitting out the midweek friendly with Croatia. Petkovic also has to make do without Breel Embolo and Renato Sanches today, so Schar, Freuler and Mehmedi return to the side from last month's 1-1 draw against Germany.
